Being safe around the laser cutter is very important. Follow these guidelines:
Before Use:
- Make sure the tray is free of combustible and flammable material (like wood).
- Locate the fire extinguisher by the door to the room.
- If you plan on using anything other than wood, please seek permission from the professor.
During Use:
- Make sure the lid is closed.
- Do not leave the machine unattended.
After Use:
- Clean up any scraps.
